Basketball isn't just a sport in the Philippines — it's practically a religion. From the courts of Barangay Ginebra loyalists in Manila to the Warriors fans in Cebu who stay up past midnight to catch a live game, Filipinos follow basketball with a level of passion that few other countries can match. At 788go, we built our NBA Betting section specifically to serve that passion — giving Filipino players a fast, fair, and genuinely exciting way to put some skin in the game on every tip-off.
What you'll find at 788go goes well beyond simple match-winner betting. Yes, you can bet on who wins the game — but you can also go deeper. Our point spread markets let you bet on how dominant a team will be, not just whether they win. A spread bet on the Celtics at -7.5 means Boston not only has to win, but win by eight or more points for your bet to cash. This adds a whole extra layer of strategy and excitement to every single quarter, because even a blowout can turn into a nail-biter when you've got a spread position.
Over/Under betting — also called totals — is another fan favorite here at 788go. Instead of picking a winner, you're betting on whether the combined final score of both teams will be higher or lower than a set number. This is especially popular among Filipino bettors who know their basketball stats well. If you know that both teams have been playing fast-paced, high-scoring games lately, you bet the Over. If it's a defensive battle, you go Under. Knowledge wins here, and 788go gives you all the stats and historical data you need to make informed decisions.
Player prop bets are one of the most exciting additions to our NBA Betting lineup at 788go. You can bet on whether LeBron James will score more or fewer than 27.5 points, whether Stephen Curry will hit more or fewer than 4.5 three-pointers, or whether a specific player will record a double-double. Props are perfect for Filipino fans who follow individual players closely — and let's be honest, we all have our favorite players and we all have opinions about how they'll perform on any given night.
The biggest thrill for serious NBA bettors at 788go is our live in-game betting. Once the game tips off, our odds update in real time — quarter by quarter, possession by possession. If you missed the pre-game window, or if the game is moving in a direction you anticipated before everyone else caught on, live betting lets you jump in at exactly the right moment. We typically offer 15 to 20 live markets per NBA game, including updated spreads, totals, next team to score, and quarter-by-quarter winners.
Beyond the NBA, 788go also covers the PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) — the league closest to Filipino hearts. From the Commissioner's Cup to the Governors' Cup, we cover every PBA game with full betting markets. Rooting for Barangay Ginebra or San Miguel? Now you can bet on them, too, in Philippine Pesos, with the same great odds we offer on NBA games. We also cover FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers and major international tournaments whenever the Philippine national team is involved.
